Dr. Nulwala is a natural entrepreneur with a key focus on materials science with key emphasis on ionic liquids and its applications. He is the CEO of LumiShield Technologies solving the corrosion problem. Dr. Nulwala is a prolific inventor and a problem solver.
Emily Northrop (Business Development Associate)
Emily’s primary role is in sales and business development by researching and reaching out to potential collaborators and customers in the ionic liquid space. She graduated from The University of South Carolina.
Ken Medlin (Lab Manager)
Ken has spent the last 20+ years in research in many different capacities. Some current duties include tool builds and maintenance, chemical inventory control, and large and small-scale polymer processing. With a broad skill set, he often has limited time to spend in a single box, which suits him well in the workplace.

Matt Bootman (Board Member)
Matt has 30 years of experience commercializing nanomaterials and biomaterials in both start-up and established organizations. During his career Matt has developed new products and technologies, moved them from the laboratory through pilot phase into manufacturing.
William Mitchell (Board Member)
Served as Vice President and General Counsel of NOVA Chemicals Inc. for the past 10 years before retiring in early 2020 after serving as NOVA’s VP Intellectual Property. Brings over 35 years of comprehensive chemical/ pharmaceutical IP experience to RoCo®.
Tom Northrop (Board Member)
An experienced businessman, a former publisher of the Observer-Reporter, Washington, PA for over 38 years with responsibilities for production and all business operations.
